Organizers
The CentEx28 exhibition is organized jointly by Korson Filatelistit (The Philatelic Society of Korso) and Postihistoriallinen Yhdistys ry (The Finnish Postal History Society).
Korson Filatelistit ry
The thinking that has prevailed in our club since decades is “collecting is fun”. This means the doors are wide and the ceiling is high. In our club collecting achieves a social dimension, enabling all of us to complement our collecting both materially and immaterially.
Having visited many stamp clubs, we consider our own club as quite comparable to others. We try to invent new activities all the time. We may not offer anything mind blowing, perhaps with the exception of our Christmas party. And that is not because of the drinks.
Even if it sounds very relaxing, some shooting stars have arisen from our club over the years, reaching exhibition philately. Where did they learn?
Korso Philatelic Society meets during school terms every other Thursday at Asolan VPK, Kuusitie 5, 01400 Vantaa. Guests are warmly welcome!

Postihistoriallinen Yhdistys ry
The happy crowd of postal history lovers in a broad network of different topics.
The Society provides advice and training (e.g. local postal history), regular publications and cooperation with other stamp clubs.
The Society maintains a column in Filatelisti (the journal of the Finnish Philatelic Federation) and cooperates with the journal Keräilyuutiset. Each meeting includes a presentation on postal history.
The membership is only 10 euros per year, no inscription charge. New members receive a literature package consisting of publications published by the Society (in Finnish).
The meetings are held in the SF club room in Helsinki, Lönnrotinkatu 32, once a month. Guests are very welcome indeed.
